Innovation, Strategy, and driving Accountability for our clients is our goal for helping them build reachable short-term goals and sustainable long-term success.

My firm was founded on the advice that a mentor once told me and now is the advise we convey to our clients on a regular basis; to be successful you need to build an impossible future. Building an impossible future means imagining a future state that you may not initially think is possible and going ahead and putting a plan in place to reach it.

It is about knowing that the skills and experience you have may not be the skills, experience and understanding to move you and your organization to the next level; it is about understanding that it takes incredible courage to lean into areas of discomfort and fear to try unfamiliar approaches; it means understanding who you are and what your comforts and fears are to create strategies to move past them; it means applying best practices and models while also recognizing that they often need to be adapted or improved along the way; it means being accountable and taking personal responsibility for your own success and failure and mostly it means that you understand the importance of developing yourself and those around you to leave a lasting legacy while creating an environment of Purpose•Passion•Pride.

We Understand Your Business Objectives

At GreenMark Consulting Group, we understand the importance of mission, vision and strategy…but we recognize that it’s focus and execution that drives results. We work with clients to develop a crystal clear understanding of what must be accomplished in short term increments–30/60/90 days and thereafter 3-6 months, 6-12 months and 18-24 months. We then design a practical, simple action plan for getting there and work with our clients to drive the necessary accountability.

The landscape industry is relatively complex. People, weather, economy and competition. GreenMark Consulting translates information gathered through our assessment process and then surrounds it with a clear and concise goals, driven by reasonable expectations.

Steven Cohen realized his passion at an early age. Starting his first entrepreneurial endeavor in high school, a landscape business, he developed into a regional player shortly after graduating college. Since selling that first business, Steven has held key leadership positions with several large landscape companies on the Eastern Seaboard in the capacity of Director of Operations, VP-Landscape, VP-Operations and most recently as Chief Operating Officer.

In 2006, he began consulting. With thirty years in the landscape-snow industry, Steven shares his passion, purpose and pride in an industry he loves with the formation of GreenMark Consulting Group. Steven prides himself as being both an analytical and a conceptual thinker who effectively partners with business owners to assess opportunities, facilitate strategic decisions, and drive successful implementations.
