So it’s Monday and perhaps time to wrestle with remaining thoughts from Friday. Today is a new day, new thoughts and even some new challenges. Let’s start with thinking about the ‘Five Habits of Mind for Landscape Company Leadership’. It is my belief that if you rigorously, and courageously address each one of these mindset habits, you will have a deeper understanding of the challenges you face as well as developing more effective strategies for dealing with them in your business model.
‘Overcome challenges with courage and strength’
- What problem exist in your organization, which you are trying to solve, or what is the obstacle (s) you are trying to overcome? What do either of these situation have to do with improving your work environment?
- What would be your strategies for solving these problem, how and why do you think implementation of these strategies will cause the appropriate change that is needed, What’s your theory. logic or action?
- Who (which people within the organization) need to understand what, in order to “own the problem” and support the strategies you would like to implement for change?
- Who is accountable? Change requires both the implementation of the required strategies to be successful, and accountability to be effective?
- What metrics will you follow to measure your success? (observable changes within the organization term outcomes or behaviors) How would you share this information with your TEAM?
Let’s give some thoughts to these questions and if you like, respond back to me with your your thoughts. I’m always looking to engage with other landscape-snow professionals
