NOON, lunch break, 1:00 pm Puzzled, 2:00 Perplexed, 3:00 pmFrustrated, 4:00 pm, Discussing Frustrations with wife, 5:00 pm- Pissed Off!
Tuesday 10-27-15- Start my day remembering what my mother always said to me…“Do unto others as you would have them do unto you“.
That said,
– We have acceptable manners when we’re eating…it may vary person to person, but there ARE rules.
– We have standards on how we are suppose to address others,
– We have standards with regards to how we dress, although it will vary depending on what we do, who we are seeing or perhaps where we are going, and of course, age, gender and culture,
– We have manners on how we are suppose to treat and talk to people,
The list goes on and on and on….
So my pet peeve…if we teach, train and mentor in business proactive communication, punctuality, common courtesy, and the list goes on and on……
Then why on Tuesday have all the people from Monday still not have had the courtesy to contact me back. Has business etiquette changed that much or is common courtesy just DEAD for some people?
