Is America Ready For a New Bathroom Concept?

I am the entrepreneur and visionary behind Got2Go™. Our brand was founded in 2013 based on the difficulty of finding a clean bathroom for my family while on vacation in Key West Florida. I have since learned that this is a problem in almost every large city in America. After working countless hours creating the concept, designing the vision, we are ready to come to life!  Our concept, while different culturally for Americans, blends the uniqueness of a European convenience with the needs, comfort and convenience of the modern family, businessperson or traveler. At Got2Go™ we are about offering you the cleanest, most convenient and accessible restroom environment outside of your home. At Got2Go™ our brand is simple. It is about Clean, Convenient Restrooms. Our Restrooms will be cleaned after every use. They will be available in a safe and secure environment and monitored by toilet attendants. 

Our Model:

We’re not just clean toilets; Got2Go™ offers a retail shop with toiletry-travel related products, gift and novelty items, beverages and refreshments and in some of our locations a sitting area with Wi-Fi. Other amenities include private family bathrooms, handicap accessible bathrooms and nursing lounges. Our business model revolves around the environment. We have incorporated both technology and environmental friendly building practices throughout all aspects of our business model. Our model will be built on several platforms including; in-line retail stores, (otherwise know as toilet stores) strategic partnerships with gas stations, convenience stores, retail outlets, entertainment complexes and through private-public partnerships. Our model will operate under corporate owned locations, franchises or licensee agreements.

Did you know that 7 out of 10 people using a public bathroom in a retail establishment such as Starbucks or McDonald’s actually made a purchase after using the restroom based on either a ‘guilt’ or ‘impulse’ purchase. (independent poll conducted by Got2Go staff)

Our Vision:

While our concept is unique, our vision is big. We want Got2Go™ to be the company to transform societal inconveniences into societal norm. Convenience is already a vital part in people’s lives and our ambition is for Got2Go™ to further improve the general public’s quality of life. We want to see Got2Go™ locations in every major city in the US and Canada. We strive to work in the most environmentally conscious manner in everything we do. Our mission; at Got2Go™ will strive to provide you with the cleanest restroom experience, the best service and a most pleasant atmosphere. 

Our model uses a unique voucher entry system where you can swipe your credit/debit card or use our Got2Go™App on your smart phone. Once you pay, you receive a voucher which allows you to redeem up to 50% of your entry fee towards a purchase at either our toilet retail store or through strategic partners such as coffee shops. fast food restaurants and convenience stores. The cost is minimal, the experience is exceptional. Just think about it, on the go, jump into a private bathroom, freshen up before that business meeting, on the go, looking for a clean safe environment for your family to take a potty break. Mommy using the bathroom with the kids while daddy’s using the Wi-Fi for a business call sitting on a sofa in the lounge area.

Steven Cohen realized his passion at an early age. Starting his first entrepreneurial endeavor in high school, a landscape business, he developed into a regional player shortly after graduating college. Since selling that first business, Steven has held key leadership positions with several large landscape companies on the Eastern Seaboard in the capacity of Director of Operations, VP-Landscape, VP-Operations and most recently as Chief Operating Officer.

In 2006, he began consulting. With thirty years in the landscape-snow industry, Steven shares his passion, purpose and pride in an industry he loves with the formation of GreenMark Consulting Group. Steven prides himself as being both an analytical and a conceptual thinker who effectively partners with business owners to assess opportunities, facilitate strategic decisions, and drive successful implementations.
